The Bible teaches that each Christian is given a spiritual gift for the purpose of advancing God's Kingdom.
"Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is
given for the common good." I Corinthians 12:7
Each Christian needs to know their gift or gifts so they will know the place of service in God's Kingdom work.
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of
service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the
same God works all of them in all men." I Corinthians 12:4-6
Since God gives the gifts there is no place in the kingdom for one person to feel superior or inferior to another.
"All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives
them to each one, just as he determines. I Corinthians 12:11
To know your gift we provide a "Spiritual Gifts Test" to each member, in our New Members Class.
In order to advance God's kingdom our church is divided into teams. Our goal is for each member to discover their spiritual gift and then serve on a team that matches their gift or gifts. We begin new teams as the need arises. Presently we have the following teams:
