Our Mission: To provide encouragement, comfort, and support for women who are journeying through a new life
after the loss of their husbands.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of women who recognize the needs of others and take the necessary action to assist them by caring and sharing the love of God. Women in all stages of widowhood are encouraged to become part of the Young at Heart fellowship. Together, we seek to strengthen our faith and allow biblical principles to guide our steps through life.
Our primary focus is the foundational truth that Jesus Christ and Lord and Savior.He can be trusted for His promises and for His provision for the special needs of the widowed women of the church and community.
SCHEDULE & EVENTS
Young at Heart is a continually growing group of women who are constantly taking on new projects throughout the years.These include sending cards of encouragement to church members, making snacks for youth activities, filling treat bags for the annual Fall Festival.Additionally, there is a monthly luncheon at a local restaurant the second Thursday of each month as well as an annual appreciation banquet.
